Dr. Krista DeCoursin
Dr. Krista De Coursin was born and raised in Wisconsin. After college, she attended dental school at the University of Iowa. At graduation, Dr. Krista received an award for her knowledge and passion. Among her honors was being the recipient of the Oral Maxillofacial Pathology Award. While living in Iowa, Dr. Krista worked at a Federally Qualified Health Clinic. There she was able to provide dental care to the community of West Des Moines. Her favorite compliments came from patients with severe dental anxiety entrusting in her.
Dr. Krista understands the importance of getting to know her patients. This is the best way to develop the right personalized treatment plan. With a passion for cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and restorative work, she helps create the healthy smile people want. In addition, her positive outlook on life and cheerful demeanor will reassure patients that they made the right choice in a dental home at Aesthetic Dentistry of Georgetown.
Outside of work, Dr. Krista loves to stay active. Her favorites activities include boating, soccer, and hiking. She also has a passion for animals and enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. Currently, she has two adopted rescue cats, Honey and Elle. One is special needs and the other goes for walks on a harness and leash. She loves to hear about her patient’s fur babies so be ready to show her photos of your beloved pets.
